Where Community Comes to Life
Photography That Reflects the Heart of The Roundhouse
At The Roundhouse, every event reflects the people who make your space feel like home. Your programs connect generations, celebrate culture, and spark joy, and that’s exactly what I capture.
With over a decade of experience documenting events and programs, I focus on real moments—joy, curiosity, creativity, and connection, as they naturally unfold.

What I Bring to Your Community
A storytelling eye for images you can use across your website, newsletters, and social media
A warm, unobtrusive presence, comfortable with all ages and backgrounds
An efficient approach that captures both event coverage and updated program imagery in a single day
Someone prepared, collaborative, and can take the lead when needed. No hand-holding required
Fast delivery, so you can share your community’s story right away
When you hire me, you're not just getting a camera, you’re investing in someone who understands your mission and knows how to reflect it in powerful, heartfelt visuals.
“Jess MacAleese sets the example for others in the photography industry. She captures every moment perfectly and is also a true delight to work with. I could not recommend her more.”
— Julia Halbert, Early Music Vancouver

Let’s create a visual collection that reflects the spirit of The Roundhouse—not just what your programs look like, but what they feel like to be part of.

“Jess did a great job of capturing the important moments of our event, as well as the various aspects of our facilty, as we requested. She delivered all of our great photos quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!”
